This weekly challenge is hosted by Mind over Memory
This is ‘Half Rabbit’ (2017) which you will find in Porto, Portugal. Its creator, Portuguese artist Bordalo II, used ‘garbage’ that he gathered around the city to illustrate the theme of excessive production and wastefulness.
The rabbit is positioned on the corner of the building in such a way as to appear folded in two. One half is multicoloured, the other untouched (hence the name ‘Half Rabbit).

Isn’t it just! I love these types of installation.
We happened upon this sculpture when we were walking around Porto about a year ago. It’s so cool, and if you aren’t expecting it, you can’t help but smile when you discover it!
And because its off the main drag you can take your time and enjoy it….
Interesting and very cool
He is cool isn’t he!!!! I’m glad that he looks cute rather than sinister!!
That is fantastic! I haven’t ever seen anything like it 😀
I’m not sure what, if anything, is the significance of the rabbit – as opposed to any other creature…. I’m sure there’s a reason..
