LIFE IN COLOUR PHOTO CHALLENGE 2021: NOV – GREY!

From Jude…

This month we will be looking for Black or Grey. Black is not a colour at all. Theoretically it is the absence of all colour. Yet black is distinctive. Lines are bolder, shadows deeper, colours brighter against a black background.

There’s a reason we don’t see the world in black and white’ (Celerie Kemble)

This month is not about creating black and white photographs, but in finding the true blacks or greys in a colourful world.

This monthly challenge comes from Jude at Travel Words. To take part, just post your colour photos and link to Life in Colour

  1. Wonderful selections! And yes, there are more greys in our world than we think. My first elephant I think, and I love the Spanish moss! Thanks Marie xx

    1. I was glad to have at least ONE flora image. I had literally thousands of grey skies – thanks to our glorious Irish weather!!!😅 😂

    1. I actually love grey – some years back, approaching the summer hols, I was musing about whether to add a streak of colour to my hair – thinking turquoise or purple maybe …. a colleague (unnamed because she’ll read this – but YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!) piped up – ‘well you might as well just go for grey – it’ll match all your clothes!!’😅 😂
