2017 was a particularly busy year travel wise. Apart from our usual trips, there were two ‘significant’ birthdays and two family gatherings that were all celebrated with mini breaks abroad.
JANUARY
We rang in the year in Washington DC where we stayed for 5 nights before heading to New York.

We headed to London for a family gathering but managed to fit in some sightseeing and the Hockney Exhibition at Tate Britain
MARCH
March brought us to Belfast for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants.
APRIL
Ah! Costa Rica. Green frogs really do live under leaves there!

SEPTEMBER
A family weekend in San Sebastian… The weather was a disaster but we managed to get out and about between showers. And the rest of the time? ….ah! those pintxos!!!!!
OCTOBER
Bergamo and Milan – a mini break in two beautiful cities.
NOVEMBER
Copenhagen – more bad weather but we still saw the highlights
DECEMBER
A brief family reunion brought us to Brighton before packing for New Year in Boston
