My Blogging History.
I have always loved traveling. After retiring in 2016, I decided to start recording travel details in a more formal way (instead of a scratched date on the back of a photo!!). Primarily it was for ourselves – with more frequent travel, we were forgetting more than we remembered ( you know the scene – ‘Hey what did you have for your main course last night’!!) .
For at least a year I scribbled on bits of paper – and finally took the jump! With almost zero IT and social media skills, I set out on the blogging journey. With much, much trial and error I persevered. I gradually began mumbling to family and friends about what I was at! Only a few laughed dismissively so I kept going! And here I am!
Advice
I can only reiterate what so many others have said:
Be honest and sincere in your writing and make it meaningful to yourself.
Enjoy what you are doing.
