From Jude:
This month we will be looking for red. One of the primary colours, red often indicates danger. It is pure energy, loud, demanding to be seen. Think of a red ladybird, a red rose, autumn leaves and a sunset. Passion. A heart.

This monthly challenge comes from Jude at Travel Words. To take part, just post your colour photos and link to Life in Colour
That red curved stair case is my favourite. You’ve got a great depth to your media files! Some wonderful pictures and all very evocative of RED.
Thank you Bernie – that’s Livraria Lello – a bookstore in Porto – JK Rowling worked for a while in Porto and it’s been said that this shop was a great inspiration behind Harry Potter…so nowadays the shop is always jammed with fans!.
Just such a cool staircase! Wonder if it moves 🤣
Definitely after some local wine tasting!!!!
I like all your red things, here in Trinidad & Tobago red is one of our national colours (together black and white), that red sorrel is a thing that most people love here for Christmas…
Thank you! Now there’s a place I’d love to visit some day!….
:):)
Wow just look at all the beautiful photos, my favourite Poolbeg Lighthouse including 🤗
I knew you’d like it Aiva!
Very nice photography
Thank you – I enjoyed putting it together….
Beautiful collection, Marie!
Thank you! It’s amazing how much red I found – I must have at least 30 photos with red boats😅 😂
You have a huge assortment of reds Marie! Everything from edibles to transport – I love Mick’s red jacket! Have you actually been to a Stones concert?
Hi Jude – I’d SO many transport options!!! Yes – that photo was taken in Dublin in 2018 – the one and only time we’ve seen them…. Must admit we were pleasantly surprised – it was a great concert. There were a few wardrobe changes but the red came out best!!!
Great collection of red pics, there’ s a bit of everything!
It’s amazing what turns up when you actually tune in and look for something specific for a challenge. I’d say this is about a quarter of the ‘red’ photos I started off with!
Love the collection!
Thank you Lissy!
Such an interesting and diverse collection of reds! I love your post!
Thank you so much – it’s a lovely challenge….
I agree!
