LIFE IN COLOUR PHOTO CHALLENGE 2021: SEPT – GOLD

From Jude:

This month we will be looking for Gold. Gold is the colour of wealth, of power, of gods. Gold-leaf applied to paintings, gold crowns and coins. But look also for golds in the natural world, a fish, a sunset or sunrise, flowers and autumn leaves or sunlight on water. Or capture the light in the ‘golden hour’.

This monthly challenge comes from Jude at Travel Words. To take part, just post your colour photos and link to Life in Colour

    1. I love the shoes – Whitney Gallery NYC (maybe!!)….and the big jug …. and the runny honey (Hotel in Muscat – best breakfast we ever had!)

    1. YES – most if not all are Luang Prabang I think! Most photos were lost from that trip to Laos/Cambodia 2009 (camera fell into the river!!) but we have a few from either end of trip – must have been on roll of film and maybe we bought a new camera – although I can’t actually remember!

    1. Absolutely! And the one thing I’ve learned from challenges such as these – don’t delete ANYTHING!!! – you NEVER know when you’ll need that photo!!!!

  1. Such fantastic photos, Marie. I have to say that Monument Valley Park has a pretty unusual landscape and unique features that are so incredible to see. I would love to visit one day 🙂 Aiva xx

  2. So many golds here Marie! You have done the colour proud. I love those gold shoes at the beginning. So unusual. Thank you for joining me this month 💛
