  1. Crete was where we (almost) started our long Greek island tour of 2021, staying in several different places. Absolutely loved the remote parts of the eastern end, but then lots of it was fabulous. Love this collection of memory jerking photographs

    1. We hadn’t enough time to visit the more remote parts of the island – something we’d definitely do instead of the bigger towns if we ever get back there… But for a first visit we didn’t do too badly and loved what we saw of it…

  2. Two trips there: Finding a half finished bottle of Chanel under my hotel bed – considering it – then throwing it in the bin because was it really Chanel or someone’s idea of a joke? On the other earlier trip, staying at a campsite, having the best fitting and most lovely bikini I ever owned stolen from the washing line! If anyone finds it, too late – almost 59 years later – it wouldn’t fit anymore LOL!
