I guess you need plenty of rain to feed waterfalls as lovely as that!
And there’s no shortage of rain in that part of the country!
This was one of the best experiences we had in Kerry. We hiked the Upper Valley trail and it was absolutely beautiful. A little wet but still manageable with waterproof shoes/boots. So serene and isolated from the rest of the world.
It’s lovely isn’t it Aiva – we’d never heard of it – the B and B owner where we were staying suggested it..
If you’d stuck around the waterfalls would have been more intense after that storm!! Beautiful countryside
True! But it was well into the afternoon and we’d been out and about since early morning so more than ready to call it a day!
I just love being out in stormy weather. 😀 😀
Me too! As long as I’m just heading home and not on the way out – especially if meeting up with someone and arriving like a drowned rat!!
Beautiful!!
Thank You – XXXMarie
first photo, I knew you were in Ireland
Ha!! Almost 40 shades of green in that photo alone!
I’ve only been there once, but the memories are still vivid in my mind – your post took me straight back.
I hope you’d a great time here –
Those waterfalls are so amazing. Anita
It’s a lovely place – I see it only figures at No. 21 on Tripadvisor County Kerry – shows you how much there in in the county!!
Lovely moody shots, it looks beautiful 🙂
It actually was – and we were nearly finishing up anyway so it didn’t spoil the outing…
