That is a fabulous Last Photo Marie, love the light.
Thanks for joining in 😀
Thanks Brian – it was a lovely evening – and we woke up to torrential rain the following morning!
Thanks 👍
🥰😘
Thats a beauty!
Thanks Bernie – the towers are wonderful structures – and great for photos!!!
I love these Round Towers soaring above the landscape, topped off with a conical cap; doorways at a height, and upper stories lit by a single round window. I’ve been to the Donaghmore Round Tower & Cemetery and to the Ardmore Cathedral and Round Tower in Waterford. They are such wonderful visions of the past, Marie xx
This was our first time here – we did part of the Boyne Valley drive that day. I’m determined to get inside one this year! I know you can climb the one in Kilkenny and I think maybe there’s another with accessibility somewhere in the country. Probably terribly unexciting inside but I’ll have a look anyway!
🥰🥰🥰
A wonderful shot, I collect places in County Meath to visit and this one is marked for “the next time” we are there. Thanks!!
Well then – you’ll be interested to know that I’m working on the Boyne Valley Drive right now!!
