Something that took me higher – for Dan’s CFFC this week….
I decided on a cable car – and then found more than one! Quality isn’t great but I certainly got higher…

I put in a search in my photos – expecting one or two – Can’t believe I’ve been in that number of cable cars – and I’ve absolutely NO head for heights!!!
I went on the Queenstown one in the early ‘70’s and the operators assured a nervous me it was safe. A few weeks later it crashed with fatalities! Returned in the 1990’s, and travelled on it again with my husband and sons .. with some trepidation!I
You were very brave to travel in it again considering you knew the story of the tragedy! I’m not mad about them but I’ve improved over the years…

Ooh, I do love a cable car and can never resist a ride! You’ve clearly found some wonderful ones on your travels 🙂 I envy you La Paz- on my wish-list for sure!
