This month Jude is looking for White or Silver: ‘White is technically not a colour, white light comprises all hues on the visible light spectrum. White is the lightest colour and is achromatic (having no hue). White is seen to be pure and clean. A wedding dress, the pure snow, a swan’s feather, fluffy clouds, milk and the Milky Way’.
This monthly challenge comes from Jude at Travel Words. To take part, just post your colour photos and link to Life in Colour
Such an amazing variety of whites! Great stuff!
Thank you! XXXMarie
What a super set of white images! You must either be very organised or have been trawling your archives for ages 😆
As soon as Jude introduces a new colour, I open a new album.. then I go right back and trawl through every photo and if it has even a suggestion of the colour in it goes… its takes ages but its amazing what builds up… when I’ve the lot done I start culling the pack! Its easily done because its monthly rather than weekly – and actually very relaxing!!
And still they come. As Sarah says above, you must be incredibly organised. But it must be admitted, you take some great pictures and you obviously have a good system of filing them. Mine just go into Country folders and then sub-folders, but if I ever get time I shall do more with them and tag them with colours, lights, bridges, trains etc. and all the things that are liable to come up in a future challenge. (And I’ll still be scrabbling around looking for an image).
You’ll go mad trying to file everything into categories – and then you’ll leave some categories out … I get loads for this challenge because there’s a month in between …plenty of time to just start from the beginning and look at everything.. But I can only look for one thing at a time – so missed lots of silver because looking for white… so much for multitasking!
Goodness! So many whites! I didn’t have any edibles or transport – well done you! As others have commented you must be very organised. Thanks for joining in 😚
Not organised – just really enjoy the challenge and look forward to it each month!
