This month we will be looking for Black or Grey. Black is not a colour at all. Theoretically it is the absence of all colour. Yet black is distinctive. Lines are bolder, shadows deeper, colours brighter against a black background.

I was glad to have at least ONE flora image. I had literally thousands of grey skies – thanks to our glorious Irish weather!!!😅 😂
Grey is a colour we don’t often think about. You think it is a dull colour, but WOW your images are amazing. Well done. I think I’ve fallen a little in love with grey. 💖
I actually love grey – some years back, approaching the summer hols, I was musing about whether to add a streak of colour to my hair – thinking turquoise or purple maybe …. a colleague (unnamed because she’ll read this – but YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!) piped up – ‘well you might as well just go for grey – it’ll match all your clothes!!’😅 😂
