A few black(ish) edibles….

Squid in Black Ink – San Sebastian

Black Beans, Belize

Still working our way through Christmas junk here! It’s actually years since we’d a box of Black Magic….

Mussels for Lunch, Donegal
……..and something with which to wash it all down..

Black coffee – just as I like it!

A pint of the Black Stuff – everywhere in Ireland! Sláinte!!!

What a tasty black post, Marie. I love all those things. The Black Magic reminded me of Christmas as a child – that was my favourite box of chocolates
I was thrilled to get them! We only saw them at Christmas also – dark chocolate wasn’t as popular back then so it was probably the only time of year that I got to taste it.
For one terrible moment as I scrolled down, I thought you’d failed to include Guinness….now that would have been sacrilege!
Do you know – I actually had it ready to post when I thought of it!!! I’d have been disgusted later if I’d left it out!😅 😂
Phew!
Great photos as usual.
Thank you Bernie – once again, they’ve all been recycled – definitely time to get out again with the camera!
What can be better than a classic selection of caramels, whole nuts and fruit creams, wrapped in dark chocolate?
Absolutely!! Savouring the last few in the box!!!
I’d forgotten about Black Magic! My husband would love those mussels and a Guinness!
Mussels, Irish brown bread and a pint – how can you beat that!!
That Black Magic box took me back – they used to be one of my mother’s favourites, after Terry’s All Gold 🙂
Do you remember Double Centre!!! They were yum!!! I think I spotted them back on the shelves this Christmas…
That squid looks delicious!
Not for the faint-hearted Des!!!!!😅 😂
Exotic!
Wwwwellll… some of it at least!
Dark, rich and uncommon.
