In a similar airport in Belize, we were handed red boarding cards. There were maybe 12 or so passengers and just the one plane. An employee came in and asked us what colour card we had. He then went back to the door and called all passengers with red boarding cards to approach the gate….. brilliant stuff!

A funny photo. The airport in the capital of Belize is so basic that there isn’t even a barrier separating it from the road. Now, most of the air traffic has stayed in the former capital, Belize City, and its Ladyville Airport.
I think it’s great to know there are still such ‘major’ airports left in the world!

I love it! It reminds me of the airstrips in Botswana and also one we landed at in Costa Rica – my sort of airport for sure 🙂

I love this!! We had to wait 2.5hrs for our bag at Heathrow yesterday….
AH Lord – that’s mad! We’d to wait 90 Minutes in Amsterdam last week – and the flight was already late from Mumbai (don’t ask!!!! – all we could get when Qatar Airlines cancelled …!!) so we missed the connection to Dublin… Just when you think you’re almost home!!!
