Great captures Marie, love the shirt! I’d love one for my electrical engineer husband!
Ha!! Got it in a store rather than the market so actually hoping it wil survive beyond one wash for a change!!!
Haha, love the tshirt Marie 🙂
It was a compromise actually – I’d spotted a great painting of the wires but it was vetoed!!!
One of my favorite places in the world! When did you go?
We were there in March – just 12 days. In hindsight (a great thing of course!) we should have stayed longer but wanted to visit Cambodia also and then Thailand was included for beach etc so we spread ourselves too thinly really
We were there in March, too… but 8 years ago. We used Hoi An as a base to see the surrounding countryside. Reading your post about that place makes me want to go back!
Me too!!! 🤣 twenty twenty vision is a wonderful thing but I’m here now wishing I could replan the whole thing! Of course, I’d still go to Hoi An….
I love this, it really captures the spirit of Vietnam and takes me right back to our own visit – wonderful memories 🙂 And your t-shirt is great fun!
Thanks Sarah – we loved our time there but as I just mentioned to Mark, we did a bit of a rush job on it. I’m delighted with the T-shirt! Definitely going to frame it when it falls apart!
Great A to Z of your time there.
It’s a fun exercise – and Vietnamese is great for those tricky ‘x’s 🤣
I haven’t done one of these in a while. Good idea.
It looks like you had an amazing time in Vietnam, dear Marie. I love the last photo of the zebra crossing. Many of our friends and family have recently visited Vietnam and can’t stop raving about how amazing it is. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx
We felt we were well overdue a visit – we’d been talking about it for years. It was a wonderful experience – although a bit rushed. We travelled with friends and I wouldn’t be surprised if we return there one day…
What amusing and great and poignant memories you brought back from your A-Z tour of Vietnam, Marie. Thank you so much.
Glad you enjoyed, Annie – We’d a great time…
That fish!!! Incredible country.
Elephant Ear Fish!!!!
I dont know if that better or worse, knowing the name!!
Ha!!! I KNOW!!!
I love this! It is amazing how many people can fit on those motor bikes!!
The most we saw was 6!!!!!!
I love this A to Z idea, what a fun way to summarize your trip and show the variety you experienced!
Its great when you don’t have a ‘full’ blog but wan’t to mention something…. I’ve done it a few times now and really enjoy it…
Wow Marie you made this challenge so much fun! You really covered a lot. We went for two weeks but just had a relaxing pace. I wanted to take a photo of the Four Mile Ceramic Road but didn’t quite get to it. That was amazing to see.
We were just 11 days maybe – too little really – it was a bit hectic. We’d one full day in Hanoi but I’d have loved another. Didn’t get a proper look at the old town in daylight, etc. Our guide on the day wasn’t top dollar – we were driving to the pagoda or whatever and I noticed the wall! The driver did pull over for us when I asked but I’d have thought it worth a mention on a city tour!!!
A lovely gallery.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed. XXXMarie
Looks like you had fun putting this together. Wonderful set of shots, moments and memories from A to Z.
