Thanks to pals Aiva from OURCROSSINGS, Allan from PhotoBlography3 and Christie from 1000 Places and Memories for the nomination.
The Travel Challenge involves posting one favourite travel picture for each day – That’s 10 days, 10 travel pictures, 10 nominations, and 0 explanations!
I do have favourite photos but I’ve probably used them , at least once if not more, in previous blogs so they might look a bit familiar!! Despite the chaos of our times, there’s still a bit of a build up to Christmas so I hope I make it to day 10 without distraction!!!
Today I nominate Jyothi from Travel Explore Enjoy for the challenge. Please link to me if you decide to participate. If you are not interested or do not have time to participate, don’t worry about it.

Looks like Peek-a-boo canyon, UT
Not Peek-a-boo but not a million miles away either…. Actually never heard of Peek-a-Boo…. had to look it up there….. XXXM
They are both weird constructions of nature, nice shot.
Well delighted to learn of this place – hopefully get back to that part of the world some day …. XXXM
Looks like Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona. Hope all is well Marie. Allan
Yes – Antelope Canyon….
All Ok…. Covid numbers not going in the right direction alas so a bit (more) of a dampener over Christmas. But we’re doing fine… XXXMarie
Jordan? I’ve seen it before and not so long ago either, but the mind is definitely not running on diesel at the moment!
Ha …. xmas overload! Its Arizona – Antelope Canyon… amazing place… XXXXXMarie
I love these colourful narrow canyons. I’m going to guess with Allan that it’s Antelope Canyon.
Yep … you can share the prize!!!
I love the wavy shape and colours of Antelope Canyon. Did you visited the canyon with a tour guide? From what I’ve heard, it’s the only option, apparently! Thanks for sharing xxx
We did indeed – we’re not good with guides generally but there was no option. However, it didn’t really matter and it did actually add to the experience… the place is so narrow that there’s only one place to go anyway so its not as though we were restricted in what we wanted to see… XXXM
Beautiful shot! Have not been in Arizona yet, still on the list😊
Arizona / Southern Utah is all stunning – well worth a visit….
Hurrah, I said ‘Arizona’ at first glance. Not a bad shot in the dark for a non-traveller 🙂
Well done. Its quite a distinctive landscape – haven’t really ever come across anything like it elsewhere….. XXXMarie
