OGHAM STONE

Ogham is the earliest form of writing in Ireland, dating around 400AD. The alphabet is made up of a series of strokes which were carved along the edge of standing stones. There are circa 360 still to be seen around the country.
An interesting mix – and I had to laugh at ‘Oink’!
He’s a handsome fella isn’t he!!
Marie, you have some awesome and fun O’s for us this week. Thanks so much for playing along 😀

OH thank you Kellye!!!!
That’s a wonderfully creative selection. Still can’t believe what you saw in Athens!
Ha!!! not typically Greek anyway!!
I should have added a comment earlier, when I first looked at your entries, but I think it set me off thinking of what I could upload and then I forgot you and your truly outstanding collection. Loved Oink and the Ovine obstruction – brilliant ‘outside the box’ thinking.
I hope you manages to come up with something – I was delighted to get the sheep and pig in!!!
