Impossible to avoid them! I didn’t have to stray far from home for this week’s challenge from Debbie. The Irish countryside is littered with lines – be it field boundaries, winding roads, bogs, beaches, rock strata and even sheep!!

Perfect collection of lines, Marie, and I especially liked the drystone walling.
Thanks Mari – I love those walls but have surprising few decent photos…
Perfect response! And again, you should work for the Irish Toursim board! This post reminds me we need to return and explore more!
Ha! Thanks Bernie! Wouldn’t it be lovely all right to wander the country and get paid for it!!!
A great collection of lines – I especially like the field boundaries and that perfectly horizontal striped cliff!
The dry stone walls always look great… but my favs I think are the bogs with the straight rows of turf sods…..
A splendid collection of lines, Marie.
Thanks Sue – glad you enjoyed. XXXMarie
Very creative Marie x
Thank you Hannah!!
Wonderful examples of lines. I love the lines in the cliff and the lines of stone walls. Great captures.
Thank you – I was delighted with the straight lines of the cliff – there’s usually so much folding in our landscape…. Those particular stone walls are unusually long and straight – they usually form more of a mosaic pattern..
It was a wonderful capture.
Thank you!!!🥰😘
Amazing strata on the cliffside! WOW!! 🤩
We rarely spot them so straight and even…..
